shells

The shells series originated from studying modular multiplications on a circle.

To create this pattern two main values are being used:
total n = number of points along the circle circumference multiplier m = used to calculate the destination point

Cardioid patterns are achieved by connecting the original point with the factor of point*multiplier.

With n=12 and m=2, you get:
1*2=2 (connect 1 with 2)
2*2=4 (connect 2 with 4)
3*2=6 (connect 3 with 6) etc.
If the result exceeds 12, the corresponding modular value is used (e.g. 12%12=1).

The total n value affects the resolution of the shape.

The multiplier m value affects the geometric recurrence and patterns of the curves.
